For as long as I can remember, I have had a deep love for horses. Some of my favorite memories are from my teenage years when I had the opportunity to regularly spend time with these gentle giants in the stables and riding arenas. It was an honor to be commissioned to create a horse portrait of a favoured horse as a retirement gift for the Executive Director of SARI Therapeutic Riding, a remarkable non-profit organization dedicated to assisting individuals with special needs through therapeutic riding.
