What an intense two years it’s been! There have been so many changes we’ve all had to make in our lives. I’ve missed my family, my friends, my group activities and the art and pet expos I took part in each summer.

But on the positive side, I have discovered I really love painting florals in coloured pencil and have loved having the time to really focus on learning new things, during which I garnered a large collection of new coloured pencils. Cause you know, one can never have too many coloured pencils! ;)

I have also tried new surfaces; velvety, smooth paper like Pastelmat, and translucent film like Graffix Double Matte Drafting Film.

On top of that, I’ve tried new tools and techniques like using odourless mineral spirits with a paintbrush to essentially paint with coloured pencils and I’ve also been using the Slice Tool to scratch off top layers of colour which is great for fur.

So, after two years of this pandemic, and two years of learning and growing as an artist, I am ready to start afresh…Time for a rebrand. So without further ado, let me introduce you to my new logo.
